Minek is írjak,
kinek is sírjak?
Könnyeim porba hullnak,
nem fogja föl senki sem.
Minek is zöldell a levél,
ha élete végén
először elsárgul,
s végül összeaszottan
úgyis porba hull.
Minek is élünk,
ha úgyis dolgunk végezetlenül
